Catching up with July

It's been quite a while since I posted. Life has been pretty ho-hum. With the pandemic still very much around, life has been confined to the homefront- working and staying at home.

I've managed to make working at home more enjoyable with a few delightful touches- collecting Rilakumma dinnerware and drinkware to make breakfast and mealtimes more fun. Coffee breaks have also been longer thanks to my latest obsession of collecting whimsical coffee cups and of course making homemade pour-over coffee and espresso using my trusty little machine. Unfurling new leaves from my plants have also brought me happiness as well as shifting to a semi-vegetarian/flexitarian diet. I'm loving plant-based meals and my body has adjusted to a meat free diet.

Staying and working at home isn't so bad if you make the most out of it and try to find inspiration. I'm loving Choki Home's cozy home inspiration. Check out here site here. It's in Japanese and you may need the help of Google Translate.

What about you? What little things have brought you joy despite the pandemic? I'd appreciate your thoughts in the comment box below.
