Nigella's Lemon Polenta Cake
Yield: 12-14 slices
Polenta gives this cake a warm, rustic flavor. Simple yet delicious!

- Pre-heat oven to 350F.
- Line and grease a 9"springform cake pan.
- Cream butter, eggs and sugar until pale and creamy.
- Mix together the dry ingredients-polenta, flour, ground almonds and baking powder. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
- Beat in the lemon zest. Mix well and scrape mixture into prepared pan.
- Bake until golden brown. Garnish cake with a dusting of confectioner's sugar.
