I may just have found the best chocolate chip cookie recipe! Thanks to this easy recipe from the amazing and talented Solenn Heussaff who by the way is a modern day Renaissance woman who can cook, paint, design, model, act and sing! Well, at least with this recipe we can bake just like her!

COOKIES BY #SOLENNCOOKING RECIPE

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsweetened chocolate chips


Directions:

1. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, blend in vanilla extract.
2. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda.
3. In a mixer stand, gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Spoon in the chocolate chips and mix thoroughly.
4. Form into a bowl, wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for an hour or so.
5. In a lined baking sheet, form dough into individual 2 inc balls. Bake at 350F until firm and golden brown.
