Happy October!

Let the halloween crafting begin!  I'm sharing with you one of the adorable halloween projects in one of my Japanese craft books. It's a halloween Jack-in-the Box pattern.It's a great project for kids. You can download the pattern files here.

Sorry I can't read katakana/hiragana/kanji so I have no idea what the title of this craft book is. I may attempt to make the black cat.  It  is so adorable it looks like Japanese San-X character Kutusushita Nyanko.
